Magnum Ignition
3 Attachment(s)
I have been working on a M-20 in a friends tractor. He had an interment spark issue (LH) side. Sometimes the engine would run smooth, then out of the blue it would run on only 1 cylinder. This was driving me  crazy trying to catch it and then trace it down. I couldn't figure out why it had spark on one side and not on the other. Spark comes from the same ignition module for both sides. I was contemplating it was that the LH had rubbed through & grounding out....NOPE. Well, I finally found it today. Turns out to be the Spark Plug Wire snap end. Cut open the boot.& pried the old one off. I happen to have a plug wire laying around. Installed the new (newer) end along with a new boot.....Lo & Behold Huston, we complete ignition. Now, I would have never thought it would have been a bad wire end. Attached are pictures. And yes it is somewhat distorted to get it off, but the condition of the end says a lot.
