Exact oil filter with cross reference K 10horse
 

1. i have searched this site and google for about 2hours with no luck. Can someone please give the exact oil filter that goes on a 10hp K series motor. I would really like something other than the original cub one. like a motorcraft, purolator, stp,etc, NOT FRAM.
2. how many quarts go in it also.

1. it is in a 108. thanks. i feel stupid.
2. forgot to ask before. what plug should (NGK, Autolite,etc.) go in for winter and the gap. is it the same for summer as well
3. how many quarts go in the crank case.

I use the Autolite 216 spark plug all year round, and never have any problems. The gap is .030 in. The motor takes 3 pts. :beerchug:

Wild Bill answered your oil filter question - the 108 has a K241 on it originally. There was no oil filter on those........

BTW, I know you realize that now, but just in case I repeated it.
