A little about me

Occupation: blacksmith, lawn caretaker

Hobby: Cub Cadets and more Cub Cadets

Two years ago I found a cub cadet 1200 in a junk pile. Well I'm a sucker for a challenge, one piston, rings, and clutch and she runs sweet. It was love at first start. How sweet it is.

At present I bought 1450, 129, and a 382 all waiting to be brought back to life.

This leads me to a question. Where can I get a repair manual for the Briggs on the 382? My local Briggs dealer says he can't get one. I find that hard to believe. Anyway I looked on the net can't seem to find one I know there is.

I'm asking if someone could give me link or phone # to someone.

Welcome to OCC!!

I have a Briggs & Stratton service manual that covers that engine. The part # on that book is 270962-1/92 if that helps any!
