Wheel Spacers

I have a model 70 frame and model 124 fenders. My fenders wont fit right unless I space out the wheels by 2" on each side. What is the best way to do this? I have seen 1/4 and 1/2" spacers but I need something bigger, and will it affect the tractor?

What size tires are yo using? It sounds like the dish is incorrect? I have some rims off a JD I was going to use, but the dish is way off..... Do you have external brakes? I don't think it will hurt a thing to run a spacer that large in there, but for the cost of the spacer, you could probably just get some different rims. :bigthink:

that would be a lot of stress on the axles and rear end the axles will break in a heart beat, it does not take a lot to break a axle. the stress and the torqe will do it every time. joe allen

Would these fit a model 70 axle?

If that was indeed the case I would think that everyone running duallys would have broken an axle by now.

What are you using for wheels? They should fit if they are Cub wheels.

Ok here are some pix, This is a pulling tractor model 70 frame and a model 124 fenders. Yes they fit fine with the stock tires. I'm running 23X10.50 12" tires and plan to use 26" for stock altered class. As you can see from the pix the fender center box sits around 3/4" on both sides to far out. I don't want to cut up the fenders it took weeks to get the body work finished on them. I see a lot of pullers at the track using spacers for there larger wheels. I really need help here I have less than 2 weeks to have her ready for the Richardson County fair.
Also I have some 1" spacers for the frame mounting so it sits up high enough for 26" tires just trouble with the width?????:Bowdown2:

Oh the tires that are on it now are the same size as my stock class pulling tires these are just what I have on while I work on it.

Flip the wheels around.

ROFL I never even thought of that. It will work I think for now, But I would still like to use my 26" for stock altered. So I need to come up with something. I was hoping someone would know if those spacers would fit!

The guy selling them sent me this description but I' dumb and cant seem to figure out what he meant.

The lug pattern is 4 1/2 x 5 on these. That means 5 lug studs in a 4.5 inch circle on center. I'm away from home til tomorrow and can't tell you the center opening for sure. I'm thinking the center opening is just over 2 inches.
