I found a 71 with a deck and blade not to far away from me. It runs, has okay paint. Needs a good power wash. Other than that I think it is OK. He wants $300. What do you guys think? http://lansing.craigslist.org/bar/4013012089.html

I would say that is a pretty good deal...

See if you have anything laying around that he may take as partial trade.

Go look at it and ask him "What's your bottom dollar, cash money right now?"

A seller will almost always come down a little if he really wants it to sell.

Mowing deck + blade= hard to argue with the price. Just about in the ballpark IMO. The STP decal makes it worth it. :biggrin2:
