WF front axle on NF tractor?

Will a wide frame axle from a 129 work on a narrow frame 126?

The front axle on my 126 has a lot of play in the spindle/steering arm and the center pivot. Two years ago I pulled the axle, welded new frame bushings as the rear bushing was gone, squeezed the frame channel and installed a new center pin. Due to the rough terrain this tractor operates on the frame channel has opened back up. I picked up an axle, spindles and pivot bolt from a 1541. Only problem is this setup has 1" spindles and I would really like to keep my narrow tri-ribs. I'm thinking about pulling the axle out of my 129 parts tractor and install a pivot bolt to keep the frame from opening up again.

Yes it will fit but will have a wider wheel width. There was 1 on my 100 w/loader when I bought it.
