1450 hydraulics

I have a 1450 with a hydraulic lift. Would it be much work to change the single lever into a dual lever system? If the parts are still available.

You would have to find the Dual Spool Valve, all the levers and linkages, all the piping & plumbing, and the hydraulic connectors. Not impossible, but not easy nor cheap.

I dont have an answer, but am curious what you want to do with the second hydraulic system?

the dual hyd option was for power angle blade and yes they are not cheap as they are a hard option to find

LawnMowerMan: I found a three spool valve from a John Deere for around $40.00 off epay and I put together a three lever system for my 982 without allot of problems (originally had a one spool valve). I still have to plumb the hydraulics which I have not had time for but I think is the easier side of this project. Keep looking at it I'm sure you'll come up with a plan. As for why I need it...... I have a sweepster unit that hydraulically angles and can use a hydraulic cylinder to raise and lower the broom with out interfering with the under carriage hydraulics for the mower and three point. The valve also has a power beyond option for another hydraulic valve if needed. Kool huh !

I have what you need. I purchased with the plan of selling my 149 and getting a 1450 or 1650, but I still have the 149. Obviously the plan changed. PM me if you are interested. It's all the stuff pulled from a 1450 with that option.
