Decisions: 125 or an "O"
I mentioned earlier that we are having an antique tractor show here in Oblong this week. Well, they have a consignment barn, and there is an "O" with no options and missing some parts in there for $200. Looks like a good base to start with but it's a later one SN# 5XXXX something.....
There is also a 125 with lights, mower deck, and snow thrower for $175. It looks like they drug it out of a fence row, but it says "runs". It has no other "cool" options. It's a manual lift with no sleeve hitch. But it does have narrow front tires on it :bigthink: I'm pretty interested in the 125 and attachments. Opinions welcome!! What do you guys think? I can post pics this evening. I don't know why I didn't snap any while I was there. :bash2: |

As for the 125, it's hard to beat the price for what comes with it if it's in decent shape and "works". Then again you're a smart enough guy with this kind of stuff, I think you just want us to "persuade" you, or tell you what you want to hear, so you can get some more toys :biggrin2::beerchug: |
I'm the one that has the 4 digit o for sale but its pending payment. With that said I'd go for the 125 hands down. Way more capable tractor. Sure it don't have the cool factor but cool factor dosnt get the job done. Also the lights and blower could bring more then the aski g price. I vote 125

125's are good "workers" (not that O's aren't). I have 2, 125's and a 105 all are kick "butt" machines.
It's just that... Originals are so darn much fun to drive! I have Originals at each place, that are pretty-much dedicated to nothing but riding around on (Go to Brothers house, pick up mail from mailbox, ride over to garden, ride by to check out neighbor lady hanging out laundry in short shorts and bikini top (don't tell wife), ride down to look at black berries, go give other neighbor "the business", ride back to Brothers to tell him about seeing neighbor lady hanging out laundry in short shorts and bikini top ...). Depending on where I have been and for how long, sometimes when I get back home, my face will hurt, because it has been smiling the whole time. Disclaimer: It is not to be interpreted that I do not smile while riding and/or using ANY of my other Cubs, because I do enjoy all of them. In order to avoid any remorse later, it would be best to get them both. |

It's obvious you're just trying to butter us up before you tell us you bought 2 more cubs and we all get jealous. Nice try LOL :biggrin2: I agree with Sam, "O"s are a blast to drive! |
the k301a is worth 175 bucks......go for the 125

I would hold out for a QL! :bigthink:
