Thinking about getting a 70
 

I'm thinking about getting a 70 with mower deck, snow plow, creeper, and three point. The guy said he rebuilt the engine last year. Has fenders. I would put my PTO transmission in it. He wants 750 for it. How does that sound?

For that kind of money, I would ask what (specifically) was done to the engine.

If it didn't get a new, rod, piston, rings, and governor, along with valve job, (minimum) polish crank, hone cylinder and true the head, I would pass or get the price way down.

Not everyone's view of "rebuild" is the same. In good conscious, I don't know how people can put a new set of rings in a tired or worn out engine and call it rebuilt.
