Gauges

Got the gauges hooked up on the Ugly Duck. Promptly found out it was not charging. Dig out the 30 year old Radio Shack meter. Had AC from the stator. Checked the connections from the stator to the regulator, cleaned them up and presto we have the problem fixed. 30PSI oil pressure at idle cold, and 40PSI WOT hot on the Vanguard.
Then it was cut the grass time with the 2182. Water temp was running 175 and then it stated to climb. Pulled the screen in front of the radiator and it was pretty well packed. Cleaned it and back to 175. I hate idiot lights.

Very impressive looking! :beerchug:

I love gauges, they never leave you to wonder what's going on with your machine. I keep trying to figure out what gauges could be used with older single cylinder motors but hour meter and amp meter seem about it :bigthink:

I like the look!

Now, if we could get a temp gauge for the air cooled ones.....

Guess you could use an oil temp gauge.... :bigthink:
