Problem With Dually

I was riding my 100 aka, Dually. Was running fine for about 20 minutes, then sounded like it was running out gas and stalled out. Restarted and was barely running and wouldn't throttle up, so I let it sit for a minute, then it started and ran fine. I bet, it's time to replace the condenser or coil. I don't know how old the coil is, but the condenser is eight years old. Appreciate any advice, guys!

Somtimes they do that when the gas tank is low.

Thanks Lew. I looked and it seemed to have plenty of gas, I'll check it again! :beerchug:

Sounds more like a fuel problem Allen. I'd drain the sediment bowl, and maybe the carb bowl. Let some fresh fuel flow in and try again. This nasty stuff we have now they call gas has too much alcohol in it and it absorbs water. The water ends up in the carb bowl and the bottom of the sediment bowl. Give that a shot! :beerchug:

I agree. I've had fuel problems that mimicked your situation before. I like to use Startron when I can, but it is rather expensive. Always had good results with it and MMO.

Yep...sounds fuelish.

I just discovered there's a station here that has ONE pump that's 100% gasoline. I'm going to start fueling all my cubs (except the smoker!) off of that stuff.

Ive had the same symptoms as that before and it was the coil as well allen! All the suggested is free to try of course and may be it as well.

Allen

Didn't you mention in a previous post that you were using Startron?

Allen what is your gas line made of. If it is a rubber line it may be going bad. Alcohol seems to attack rubber lines too. If it is metal this is not your problem.

Thanks guys! I've been using StarTron for a couple weeks now, and I also use Ethanol free gas. Thanks for the suggestions to try! :beerchug:

Paul, the line is rubber, it was replaced a year or so ago.
