K-321 question
I've got a K-321 I'm working on and am trying to find online before I tear into it this weekend how to remove the pulley on the motor that spins the starter/generator. The guy I bought it from replaced the arm that usually bolts to the block to hold the tension on the starter/generator and apparently didn't put it back attached to the block like it's supposed to be. Instead, he made a custom bracket to hold it.
But anyway, all I need to know is once the PTO clutch is off, how do I go about removing the pulley on the motor that spins the starter/generator? Or do I even HAVE to remove it to get a bolt back in the hole that holds the arm on? It looks like it's almost covered a bit by the pulley but again, I haven't had a chance to dig into it so I can't tell for sure. I'm guessing it's simply keyed and slides off, but want to make sure.
