auto motive starter selenoid
i know i have asked this before but i never found out which one.

(one that says "s" the other says "I") which one do i use. last question. some automotive starter selenoids have diodes in them. does the cub cadet have a diode in the selenoid or no? if it does or does not can i use a selenoid that has a diode or not thanks mike |

I checked to see if I still had the box and I do. I tracked down the part on O'Reilly's and here's the link. I lost the piece of paper telling you which post to use, but if you get this part, it'll tell you when you get it.
http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...1931&ppt=C0330 In the description is says: "Brand Information Contains spike suppressing diode on certain applications to extend ignition switch life and provide minimal interference with on board computers." SOOO it looks like this one has a diode in it but it worked like a charm for me. |
I used this one from Stens on a 126.
Starter Solenoid (Stens) part # 435-431 (used on a 71-1X2 thru 147) Not sure if it will work on your 109. |
thanks
on your new selenoid it should have an s or i. what did you connect your wires too and which one(s) thanks |
Wire in question should be connected to the s terminal.

really dumb question. how do i know what is the pos. side of the selenoid? thanks again. |
one on left is the 109. one on right is the thunderbird.
