How much paint?

I'm working on my first restoration...a 149.
To those of you who are experienced in restorations, approximately how many quarts of paint do you normally need for a complete break down restoration?

2 qts of yellow and 1 qt of white should do it. You'll also need 2 qts of primer.

EricR and I are doing the same with a 102 right now. We have most of the yellow painted and forcast using just over 2 quarts. That is with 2 coats from a gun. The paint from NAPA is not cheap but man are we pleased with the results so far. We can see our reflection in the smooth parts. We are using a 8 4 1 combo of paint, reducer and hardner. Man it is working good.
