K-301 piston?
 

Cleaning up my piston what does std 205 04 13a. Does that mean anything? Its written on the top of the piston.

it tells you its standard bore K301 piston.

Ok sweet. It is very clear to read would that lead you to believe its a newer piston?

possible that it was changed at some point

The later style Mahle pistons are marked with a funny M.
