Sould I be worried?

After I finished my 100 face lift last year I think I did a bad thing.
Reading since then I think I may have messed up. When I painted the tractor I painted over the vent on the diff.
I have only put maybe five hours on the tractor, didn't blow out any seals or see anything, "bad" what would be the best way to "clean or open" the vent? Or can I even clean it?
Any suggestion?
Thanks

are you talking about the bronze piece on the rear, or what looks like bronze and its porous. ive painted over mine and never had an issue but the paint never did stick to it very well

Dab some paint stripper on the breather or use some Acetone with a Q-Tip.

The vent on a manual transmission is the gear shifter area. The bronze piece in the rear end is only on a hydro Cub Cadet.

Merk beat me to it. :biggrin2:
