My Nephew in Oklahoma found me 2 more cubs in a barn clean out...... Made him a fair offer and he can store them at my brothers place until I get out to get them. I may even have him bring them to me along with an old car i still need to get. They don't have hydro lifts and he doesn't know if they will run, but they are worth it for parts for the 129 and 1250 I already have. Just thought I would share!!

I am Allen..... What pops up here in Ga. is not worth it or way over priced!! Making another trip north to Pa soon to sort out the rest of my late grandfathers collection so there may be even more......:beerchug:

That alone means its worth it IMO. ANY tractor can be a mowing machine but once you put a rear lift on it it becomes something else entirely.

It's amazing what people have sitting around, lost to time, waiting for the right collector to come along! Glad you found them and got those extras in the deal! You might be surprised at how strong their engines are and make your other two donors......or fix one up for that nephew as payment for bringing the other stuff to you!

I was impressed that he called. He is scrapping everything out of the barn and called me as soon as he saw them. He was told that they both ran when parked, but both needed repairs. The gentleman that owned them has passed. As far as fixing one up for him, he has went with a nice pair of Orange tractors and has no desire to go back to an older Cub.

As far as the rear lift and spring assist..... It is a huge bonus. As is the Wide Frame plow on the 129. I have described and sent pictures of the rear hitch and lifting straps in case he finds them in another out building. He also said the deck on the 1250 looks like it was barely used.

I will need a right side cover for the 1250. It now as bullet holes in it. There was a litter of skunks and one feisty momma skunk living under it........:bash2:
