Battery

Any suggestions on which brand of battery lasts longest?

I've got Everstart batteries, sold by Wal-Mart and made by Johnson Controls, in most of my Cub's. But in the past year the warranty decreased from 12 months to 3 months, and Cold Cranking Amp rating decreased from 275 to 230. So obviously the quality has decreased, which is confirmed by the fact the Everstart I bought in August 2012 won't start my 682 without jumping, yet the 2009 era Everstart in my 782 works fine. Seems the Everstart is meant to be a one-season disposable battery.

Last month I put a Sears DieHard Gold (340 CCA), which is also made by Johnson Controls, in my 1450 and so far it works great. The downside is the Sears battery costs $55 vs $30 Wal-Mart.

I run the DieHard Gold (340 CCA) There 49.9 buck at Kmart. TSC has a 320 cold crank but its 50.00 as well.

I have got the best life out of the Autozone Duralast batteries.
