New member, from Rhode Island
I am anew member of the club ,and wish to participate. I have recently purchased a Cub Cadet 105 hydrostatic trans . I found the wear button to be missing and the thrust button has worn out the the shaft clutch. I am wondering if I could fill in the old hole and then drill a new one ?
Any advice would be helpful as it is my first problem. The Kohler engine seems to run good and I also got rototiller and snow thrower plus the grass cutting deck with it. I find that 105 info is sketchy any help would be nice. Thanks Wheelie |

The 105 is a part of a great series of Cub Cadets that have awesome styling lines and a pretty good following on here. The wear button can be replaced or drilled out as needed, depending on the level of wear to the thrust arm. I had one on a 72 that was soo worn down that I replaced it rather than try to weld it up. Post some pics of the tractor and the thrust arm. You also want to make sure that it has not ate into the PTO thrust button fingers.
