Clutch Center Spring

I have a Cub 127 with manual clutch and need a pressure spring (one in it is broken) I have opportunity to buy single PTO pressure spring that fits inside or 2 springs that overlap (they are flat all over)! Question is will the 2 springs work on a 127 clutch? 2 springs seem sturdier!

Would we be correct in assuming you are referring to the PTO Clutch...???

Yes the PTO CLUTCH! The spring that WAS in it was IH 483525 R92. The other spring is IH 543969 R1 which is 2. I was wondering if the OTHER springs IH543969 R1 would work on my PTO clutch? PS Those numbers are from http://ihccw.com/pto.html (CUB CADET WAREHOUSE) website.

The simple answer is no they won't fit or work properly.

However, without pictures, after all these years we really don't know if any/all of the parts of your pto are what they are supposed to be.
