Hydro leaking

What might cause a hydro to leave a puddle on the floor just forward of the rear end in the winter but not in the summer? Does the summer dirt/grass get up wherever the leak is and temporary seal it? Size of leak is a 10"-12" diameter spot on the floor after 6 months of sitting (winter.) This is on my 147.

Probably the suction tube...

In the winter, the steel is colder and the joints pull apart. In the summer, they're warmer and fit tighter.

After fighting hydro leaks on my 149 for MANY years (FINALLY all sealed up), I decided on my 1650 to simply replace every single gasket and fluid connection... It's not that much money or work.

I need to do the same thing on my 1650. Happen to have the part no's, or where you bought everything from?

Any insight/ tips?
