A Cub of a Different Color...than most
Well, I went out and bought a 1953 Farmall CUB this weekend! Got rear wheel weights, single bottom plough, front blade and flail mower for a song. :beer2:
She fires right up, even in this cold weather, smokes a little, but nothing I would consider serious yet. One more "CUB" in the barn. I am looking forward to working on it, and putting it to work a lot in the future. OK, here are some pics! I didn't get a picture of the Front Blade tonight, but you guys know what those look like! :D http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/t...f/P1010608.jpg http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/t...f/P1010602.jpg http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/t...f/P1010612.jpg http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/t...f/P1010604.jpg |
Cool deal, Scotty! Let's see some pics! :beerchug:

Good for you...I love my farmall Cub! The neighborhood kids love when I give them wagon rides with it too!!! Get some photos up soon.

Congratulations on the Cub Scotty

Pics up now! Enjoy...try not to look at my messy barn though! :biggrin2.gif:

Nice looking Cub! Used mine to plow 5inches of really heavy, wet snow this morning before work. I love the sound of that tractor. Jason

Nice find.
I believe that is a 130 correct? To bad about the grill and front wheels. Those grills are hard to find. |
I'm not too sure on the Model #. I'll have to look around and see if I can find it.
I asked about the front wheels/tires when I made the deal, but he did not have them. I'll have to look around and find a set of stock style fronts. Those probably wont come cheap. :bash2: |
