Greetings from Finland

Hi,

Summer is now officially here. I started with Tilling(new thing for me). I bought a Tiller last fall from a member here at this forum. I did some sand blasting and painting and it seems to be working ok :beerchug: Here few pics:

And IF someone has rebuilt engine for my 1450 I am intrested in it. Mine is smoking really bad and I really do not have time to take it out and arrange parts, machining and assembly for it. I would prefer of buying a "drop in" replacement. And I do not mind if it is 16 hp version.

Looks like the tiller did a great job for you! :beerchug:

Greetings. Nice set up. Looks like you've got the 1A tiller. Shake the crap outta you when you are using it, but they do a great job.

If your engine has a lot of oil smoke, it may be a blown head gasket. The head gasket may need replacing. If the head gasket is bad, you will show a lot of oil smoke on starting it, and while it is running. Plus you will get a lot of oil leaking around the front of the engine. Replacing a head gasket id fairly easy and is more common than replacing the engine rings.

Nice tractor!

Hi,

Thank you for the tip. I have a new head gasket waiting. I will replace it ASAP. I did not know that it can cause smoking. Lets hope it solves my problem. I replaced my single hydraulic control valve with dual valve today. I re-used old hydraulic lines(new bends with a vise). Now those hydraulic lines are in place and work but they look UGLY. Where can I get new ones ? Or a good used set? The ones that go from hydro ports to valve body. Also if someone has control lever for second valve I would be intrested in it also.

Hi cubfixer,

Head was loose... gasket was ok. But I am going to replace it. I can not feel any wear in cylinder it looks ok. Thanks for advice.

Very nice looking rig! Any pictures of the restoration effort?

Glad to hear your oil problem was a $10 fix! :)
