Here is what I have done so far. The yellow is just primer, I am priming all yellow pieces with yellow primer and the IH white pieces in a gray primer. I have two coats of yellow primer on top of one coat of gray primer.

What type of paint and primer are you using? Looks good

I really am interested in the paint rack! Engine stand? Portable? I think I like it!

the primer is Ace "zinc yellow primer" over rustoleum gray, i have not decided on the paint yet. probably Cub Cadet brand , i did a 106 a couple years ago with the same process and it turn out awsome , and still looks like it was painted yesturday.
all pieces were blasted to bare metal. i use the gray primer first to for rust protection and to help the yellow primer coat better, just two coast of yellow covered good, i will wet sand the primer before paint. i no pro painter but i think it will work out awsome again.

the stand works great, its easy to work with, i dont have to have a big table to store the parts on, after i blast and prime a piece i put it on the frame. i can move it out side inside or when ever.

Could not agree more on the Cub Cadet paint. I painted a 72, 17 years ago, and could not believe how nice the paint { for those of us who know } still shined! I use only Cub Cadet paint as my personal choice! Painting is all in the prep work, anyone can paint,.............. its like cooking chicken!

Nice attention to detail, and work so far! Thanks:High5:
