First Cut with the 782
 

Used my 782 to cut the yard with yesterday for the first time since buying it. Cut fine, even with a ratty 44" deck.

Noticed that the turning radius to the right is not as tight as it is to the left. Normal?

Lots of play in the steering wheel.
Need a rebuild of the steering box or just an arm linkage adjustment?

Thoughts?

I'd just rebuild it its not hard. Also replace the tie rod ends and adjust them so it will turn stop to stop.

It cost me less than $50 to do the above on my 104 and the steering is great

steering gearbox needs a good re-pack with grease and possibly new bearings.
