the button on front, not the top button ,,is stuck in...not allowing the hooked pin on the bottom end to support the deck in any position ....any suggestions for a repair..thank you...

That button is supposed to pop out when you push the top button down, try spraying some PB Blaster down the top of the handle toward the front where that button is.

If it doesn't loosten up after awhile you may end up having to replace it.

Thats the Float button that allows your attachment to follow the uneven contour of the ground. Just soak it good with Knocker or PB Blaster and take a lite weight hammer and tap down on the big top button then up on the bottom pin then down again while holding back on the lift handle. When its working right you slightly pull back on the handle while pushing down on the thumb button and the Float lock button pops out releasing the thumb button to rise. Keep soaking and tapping and it'll free up for you.

sometimes if the button spring breaks it wont come out or if somebody used a vicegrip on them they will never work then its just replace it but sit down them little guys aint cheap like 30.00
