Adjusting valves k241 with acr

Well I was a dummy and adjusted the valves not thinking about the ACR. Now its not working. The manual seems to leave out how to do this properly. Anyone have any ideas as to how to set the exhaust valve clearance properly?

The ACR has nothing to do with total valve lift. The ACR comes into play long before full exhaust lift occurs. I would adjust as you would normally.

Right but at TDC the exhaust valve is lifted slightly to release compression. I adjusted it to this and now the valve doesn't lift as you spin the motor. Do I just watch the lifter and hope for hitting the lowest point in its travel and then adjust?

if you take the breather cover off and roll the engine around you should find a spot before the ACR that you can adjust the lash. as long as you are on the base circle but off the ACR you can adjust .
