680 types of motors
 

i know in the 680s they had two different motor put in them in the years they are built but ive seen a few of them with 14 hp k series k321s is the magnum the 12 they put in it and the k series is a 14 they put in it ???

The 680 was made from 1982 to 1984. It rolled out of the Factory with a Kohler K-301AQS - Spec: 47764

Looking through the Electrical Diagrams, Parts Lookup, Model Data, I find NO evidence of a M-12 nor a 14HP Engine in any 680.
