New here & new-to-me 73

Unless it isn't really a 73...
Hope to get a couple more pictures without all my other crap surrounding it. Nice little guy, want to swap the deck for a 48, until then it's mostly going to be pulling carts etc. Looking forward to info and advice! |

Sweet 73! I personally think the 48" deck will be to large for the 7hp but it's your cub. |
That's a pretty clean 73! The fenders are not original to that tractor; they look similar to fenders from a 125 or a 104, etc...might be why one would question whether it's a 73. IMO a 48 inch deck might be a load for the 7hp engine, BUT, I've never tried it :beerchug:

Great information already - yeah it was the fenders that had me questioning, though just now I grabbed the serial # and it appears to be correct.
Interesting on the larger deck - I saw that a 48" was available, but I could see how it might be too much of a load, too. Might end up pulling a dual finishing mower setup with it - I've got a little over 3 acres to mow - 38 isn't going to do it quick enough. |

Welcome to OCC! You definitely have a 73 with the wrong fenders.

Nice looking 73:beerchug:
You could be like others here, get another cub with a bigger engine to get the BIG chores done:bigthink: |
The round fenders are correct but the fenders do look good on the ol'e girl.
