1210 and 1810
Is there any difference between these two other than the engines? I know that old cubs are worth what you are willing to pay. With that said, I am willing to pay darn near asking price for a couple that I have found.
Any issues with either model? Any issues with either engine? One is a Kohler single and the other a Kohler Magnum double. Not sure which one to grab/go for.......and "BOTH!" is NOT an option:Snooty::beerchug: I have some really steep property to mow as well. Selling my JD 316 to fund it. Regards, KPD |
Assuming condition is the same and price is similar go for the 1810. The 12 single is a good engine but the 18 twin is better imo. How much are they asking for each tractor?

1810 - $650 Both are pretty nice and look well cared for. Cubs pop up fairly regularly around here. I passed on a 1641 last fall that looked new with 425 hours. Guy wanted $675. Never should have passed on it. |
What neck of the woods you located in? (Don't worry,I'm not interested in them) reason I'm asking is not to many pop up around this area.

I'd go for the 1810. I had a 1210 and hated the rubber mounts for the engine.
|
I'd also get the 1810. The twins are so smooth!

Oconto County is better living though:beerchug:. Love that area. Funny. I love most of the state except the area I live in! Come on down and buy some of these cubs. 3-4 hours. Problem is that you have to go into enemy territory and enter Illinois occasionally. KPD |

Shoot, if you're sellin' a green weanie, you should be able to buy both. Those green things are made of green. :biggrin2:
All kidding aside, I'd go for the 1810 as well. Good luck and keep us posted. |

JD's do get good money. My problem with my 316 is the Onan engine. Strong, good runner, but no parts. And my wife will be easily confused by another yellow/white tractor.:biggrin2: |
