anti seize?

Was wondering if putting anti seize on the roll pins would help slow down the rusting stages to which you can't get them out. Maybe after years of use the anti seize could make them easier to get out?

I've never had a problem getting them out as long as I've used the right size punch.. maybe mine just havnt seen the elements like others I don't know. I'm sure the anti seize won't hurt but most of it will prolly be scraped off when you pound the pin in

Store the tractor indoors and you won't have issues. I hate those damn pins on a old tractor.

Fully agree with both these replies, anti seize couldn't hurt, but there is no substitute for keeping your equip covered and dry.

I would also suggest another good use for anti sieze is once you have your steering wheel off clean things up and use anti sieze when putting it back on. Most everyone has problems with steering wheel removal.
