Finally got my Magnum 20 in my 682 and running. Pretty happy with it. Still got some work to do on the engine tins and pto assembly due to differences in the M20 and the KT17, but I was able to drive it around. Sure is snappy! I'll be paying close attention to the engine oil as I am not so sure Im not getting some gas in the oil.

Looking good, my 1810 has the kohler magnum 18hp or the M18. They have ton of torque when needed.

Great job! If you're getting gas in the oil, it's time to replace the fuel pump.

I put a electric pump on my 782 repower. No more worrying if gas is getting into the oil.:biggrin2:

I was thinking about an electric pump as well. Lot cheaper.

Well I finally got around to finishing my 682 repower. Got the pto installed and hooked up and all of the sheet metal back on. I am still lacking the engine tins that wrap around the front of the engine, I'll have to research what is needed there. I took it out for a test drive around 11:30 tonight. I am very happy with the result. The M20 runs excellent and everything is quiet and smooth. Lights even work. Tomorrow morning I will trg to install the deck and try it out if I can find the belt. I am hoping to have the 682 and my newly acquired 782 both out mowing together tomorrow.
