Plowing with Duals

Does anyone out there plow with dual wheels on their cubs. I thought about putting duals on my 128 to give it more weight in the back but with the extra wheel on the right side i figured it might not let the tractor drop down into the furrow.:bigthink:

I've seen guys with the on land dual (left side) and no dual on the right. You can't have duals on the right because like you said it would not be able to drop into the furrow.

Allen has plowed with his 100 with 6x12 ags on before. I'm sure he has pics of it here some place.

I didn't have the duals on. We took the outer tires off.

I've watched a lot of tractors with duals on the upper side of the tractor(left). As it is the out side of the first tire barely hits the ground unless it's real soft. The only benefit the second tire would do is more weight maybe more stable. Most of the time the diff gets caught up on the tip of the furrow. I find it's better to have taller tires.
There are a lot of different theory's of this. I've plowed with a model 70 with 8.5's with no problems except the diff getting caught up. Traction was never really a problem.

Is it plow day yet!

Seriously, From what I've seen they work best like this:

Dats' how the big guys do it. Run duals on left side single to drop into furrow on right side.
