Creeper oil
Hello everyone!! I have a question about the oil in the creeper. I drained it since I don't know when it was changed last & when it came out it looked like it had water in it kinda a milky color. I refilled it & ran it a few minutes then drained it trying to flush it out & the oil came out milky colored again. I'm using hydraulic fluid & I'm wondering if this is normal. I'm thinking about filling it with diesel & running it a minute or two & draining it to try & flush it out good. Any suggestions???

This should help..... Lubrication Chart

I just looked up in my 102 operators manual to see what oil is recommended and it says to use either Hytran or SAE 30 motor oil. I have also used AT fluid in mine and had no trouble.

I haven't been able to find Hytran anywhere so I went with OReilly 303 tractor hydraulic fluid. The label says its recommended for IH so I thought that'd be in spec. It just had a funny color when I drained it, maybe it supposed to look that way right after its ran.

If it's milky, then there's water in it.
