Kohler KT17 Series II value/sale price
 

Give me your opinion. What is a fair price to ask for a running KT17 Series II. No issues runs fines fresh oil change but could use plugs and an air filter. Complete engine minus PTO. Tractor shows 824 hours but there is no guarantee those are engine hours. Here is some pictures and I have a video of it running if I decide to list it.

Clean it up a bit and I would say 200-400 depending on the need of the buyer to keep it original...

Lead I dont normally clean engines much buyers think you are trying to hide leaks. Hmm no wonder guys part stuff out bring lot more that way. I think for anything less than $300 Id just keep it runs good. Thanks for your thoughts its hard to know what stuff is worth .

Well the good thing is I don't have to sell it. I'll put it in the 682 and having a usable tractor. Just a curiousity what everyone thought.

ive seen asking prices on epay of 500 or more but not sure who'd pay that without some proof of a recent rebuild or something. if i saw one near me for sale for 200 id put it on the shelf as a spare just in case :)

Yea I saw those ads. I think $500 is a little much but if you look at parts cost then its about right. Every engine ive priced has been really high. Ive got a video of this one running. I am just trying to decide whether to sell it seperate or in the tractor.
