QL fuel filter
 

A little while ago I inadvertently injected some bad info into the forum regarding a fuel filter for a 1650. I had said that a NAPA 3001 would fit, and at the time it sure looked like it. Well, when all was said and done I had an interference problem with the throttle linkage and had to scrap that idea. I did find that the NAPA 3007 works. The stems are little small for 3/8 fuel line, but a good hose clamp works to prevent leaks. Here's some pictures. this is my first attempt at posting an image. Hope it turns out.

What size fuel line is it made for? 5/16 might work, but 1/4 would restrict fuel flow too much, I would think, at least for the K341 on a 1650.

The 3007 does fit real nice. It's a translucent plastic body so you can see the fuel. Also, the filter medium is a fabric mesh not paper, so fuel flow has very little restriction. As far as hose size, 5/16 might be right, but I can't find it on the NAPA website to confirm.
