Hood?
 

What model hoods will fit on a 128 cadet. I have one that I have a hole in. getting my puller ready for next season and I want a better hood. Will a 125 cadet hood fit?

hjsmith00843: I don't think so, the 125 is a narrow frame and the 128 is a wide frame. The dimensions at the rear of the tractor are the same, but the front of a wide frame is wider to accommodate the 14 HP and 16 HP single cylinder Kohler engines.

Not to say you couldn't make it work, but I think you would be in for an adventure.

QL Hood
 

If latching is important you will need to find a QL hood support. The QL hood doesn't have the cross piece like the 128 hood would have. It has a spring tab and requires no hood latch.

Just my .02 worth.

I never latch the hood so it should not be a problem. Thanks for the help guys.
