I found this 0 wile looking for parts for my snow thrower.

I sent the guy a email , I asked for the S/N.
22888 he sent me. (need your help here) what year is it?

I see it has the wrong wheels on the rear and I hope thats just a seat cover over the pan. and no fenders.

what would you pay for it? to restore and keep for yourself.

Looks like Dec. of 61.

According to the serial number, it was made in January of 1962. Nice looking "O"! :biggrin2:

I would buy that in a heartbeat for 400, and if he is willing to come down that would be even better.

I paid $300 for this one about a month ago....

One that is as complete as that one, wont need much more than a $100 to a couple hundred dollars into it to get it show ready as long as it drives.

Mine, which is currently in a million pieces and I needed ALOT of parts for, will only end up being about 300 more, so $600 total. Its not as bad as you might think.

You are correct, Everyone is different in their opinions, I wanted this model so I bought it, but it seems people only want to spend dirt cheap for these tractors. I would pay $400+ for the one you got there, its really pretty ready to go. :TwoCents: :beerchug:

I hope you get it! and Good luck with it! They are fun tractors! :beer2:

Looks like its a good start for a restore, but that rust, oil mess on top of the shifter concerns me...I would pull the shifter and check it out before you buy it.It may have had water in the trans and froze, pushing out the oil.
Are you getting fenders for it?
How many goodies are putting on this O?,They add up quickly.

not sure what you call being show ready for a couple hundred dollars ?

I think mine and your Idea of a restored tractor is way off. I'll have a couple hundred dollars just in the paint and clear. I dont do rattle can paint jobs. thats whats on my 882 and it looks like shizzznit.
