I thought I would get the tig out to do some welding of steel and alumunim, so I thought I would make some brackets that a member has made and make some of my own. I like the idea of these that the hood is propped up and not resting on the header panel on the wideframes. Not sure of the members name, but I'm sure he will chime in. Still need to clean up and get some different bolts. I see now why the member used flat head bolts as they hit when the hood is closed. This is one of the main reasons I like this forum. I'd like to put something like that on my narrow framed hood, some sort of stop to keep it from resting on the front grille piece.
