I am needing a engine for my 100. I found this site on the web Kustomsmallengine.com. Has anyone done business with this site?

do a google ,and see what you come up with ,a complete rebuild will cost you ,around $300.00 too $500.00 in parts and labor ,if you have it bored and have the crank turned ,and valves done ,and head milled ,hope this helps .David

Wow! you get off cheap, try and double that price around here. 75 miles any direction from here is $700 to $1,100, but you will find the one guy who will do it in his spare time for $300 to $500, but he had all the wrong answers to my questions.

that is pretty cheap. I get $550 - 600 for a rebuild with aftermarket parts. that includes a crank grind, boring and valve seat cutting. OEM kohler stuff is getting pretty out of line with pricing

rebuild

Having my 10 hp Block bored out now at a machine shop for $35, if he can clean it up he will put a new sleeve in it and make it standard again, order undercut valve for $53 and new valve guides for $24 going to get a after market piston and gaskets for $59, we put it back together myself, the last rebuild was 7 years ago, not to bad for my puller with a LP Head and 18 hp cam at 4000 rpms. pull from 40 to 80 times a year
