123 rearend
Hey guys I just finaly got all the junk.cleaned out of the rearend on my 123. What is a good way to test to see if the pump is any good before going through all the work to put the rearend back in the tractor. It had this jelly looking stuff all throughout the rearend and it wasn't working before. I'm just hoping the pump didn't get Fried

There is no way, that I know of to simply "bench test" a hydro.
The Hydro Filter should have protected the Charge Pump from getting any debris. Simply clean up the rearend the best you can, install the correct Hydro Filter and fill it up with Hydro Fluid. :IH Trusted Hand: |
I test them with a good drill to turn the pump. Spin it up and cycle the control to see if it will turn the axels. If it does then put it in the tractor. At least you will know if it works before you put it in not to say it will work well under load.

I.got a different rearend under it right now with a engine put on it. Been riding it around. Used it to level out the ground to put a new shed a couple days ago
