Why would one weld this?
 
My # 127 came with a blade attached. While inspecting it I found a piece of metal stock welded on the frame of the blade. Why would someone do this?:bash2:

a snow blade? if so the "arms" on the undercarriage most likly got twisted up, from hitting snowdrifts at mach 1. I've bent them up, quite badly:biggrin2:

Maybe they wanted to move the location of the pivot point outboard for some reason?
