122 vs. 123 Frame?
 

Are these the same frame? The guy I bought the 123 from is giving me a rolling 122 chassis with it. I am wondering if I can swap the frames because the 123 has a cutout above the hydro in the frame from the PO before him. :bash:

They are exactly the same tractor only the 123 has a hydro tranny while a 122 has a 3 speed gear tranny.

Keep in mind you will have a creeper breather hole and shifter hole in your tunnel cover if you switch frames. Not a big deal, just a minor difference in frames. It wont affect how it functions.

Good point, That was the response I was looking and waiting for. Wasn't sure if the 123 had a creeper/breather hole originally or not (Since mine is cut out to begin with). Thank you sir! :American Flag 1::beerchug:

Your 122 frame will not work without some mods to it.
First off the hydro linkage that goes through the frame is different, it would have to be larger and the you would have to drill holes in the correct spot for the hydro control.
Also the hydro has a hole in the side of the frame for the release lever, you wouldn't be able to mount it any way without the mounting holes for it inside the frame.

Is the large hole in the left side of the 122 frame where the hydro adjustment marks are on a 123?

Any 122 frame made before the 123 does not have it.
