1450 mowing deck
 

I have a 1450 and I have a 50 inch deck from an 1872 and I wondered if that deck will work on my 1450. I wasnt sure if I would have to change the pulley on the deck to make it work I thoughtt I heard that some where. Thank you for the help.

youll have to check your belt to make sure it fits the pulley ok but you will most likely need a different pulley for a 50a mower deck. the one you have is probably a 50c and the belts where wider so yours would slip like crazy. i have a "4 diameter undersized pulley i bought from a cub cadet parts website cant remember which one. mows way nicer than the standard 5". just thought id add that save you some grief.
