Overdue Pics of 1650

Hey Guys, here are some pics of my year 1975, CC 1650. SamMac supplied me with the upgraded front axle and 1" spindles and matching wheels. My 85 year old neighbor sold me the blade (he has another/bigger one). Kevin Holt rebuilt the K-341. NAPA in Raleigh turned the crank for the new connecting rod, and polished it. I installed all new rear wheel studs that I bought from Steiner. Also check out the circa 1974 Hurst Compitition Plus shifter knob I installed on the hydro directional control arm. I know its from 1974 because thats the year I bought it. I thought it would be fitting to have it on a 1975 Cub. A new paint job and seat are on the list, just need a little more time and extra cash.
I hope ya'll enjoy :)

Thank you for the kind words everyone. With the help of some good people there has been alot of mechanical work done on the 1650. Now I can focus more on making it look good. The PO did an awful repaint on the yellow. Not only did he use the wrong color, he also must have used the cheapest spray can paint he could find. I need to ask Santa Claus for some sandpaper because it looks like I will be doing alot of sanding this Winter :)

Van Old Boy, Ya Done GOOD !:beerchug:

Just swapped the M12 that was in that JD dumptruck I built out of the 317 that you looked at when you were here with a Cub spec Kohler CH22 with a 2000 series drive line. A JD with Cub power. Sounds like my Harley, way too cool. Just waiting for a part for the drive shaft. You'll have to take a ride up and check it out. Think I figured out a way to do power steering on it for reasonable $$$ :biggrin2:
