question about a 108
2 Attachment(s)
I am looking at a 108 in a auction and it is clearly a narrow frame, another one I seen on CL is a wide frame and thats what tractor data shows to.
Did they make the 108 both ways or has the one im watching had the number changed.:bash2: here is a pic of it. |
That's a 106.

I looked at the pics closer and one I didnt put on here and it could be a 6. I would say they listed it from the pic and it does look like a 8 to someone who dont know cubs, heck I didnt know till I looked up a 108 and I have 5 cubs. I sent then a email about the misstake, someone else not knowing might pay mor thinking its newer than it is.
this is a nice history wright up of the older cubs, www.xtrememotorworks.com/Cub_cadet_History.htm |
Good thinking! I saw someone the other day on eBay trying to pass a 70 off as a Original.... I emailed them about it, unfortunately people bought it thinking it was an O. Ignorance can cost $$$! :beerchug:

Good looking 106. Good luck at the auction.:beerchug:

Good eyes everyone! And good luck at the auction! Here's a little tid bit that i didnt know until i joined here, and for the life of me cant find right now, but that early 108's were in fact narrow frame tractors. Even the ads that IH ran sometimes showed the wrong tractor with new specs. I have only ever seen one of these early narrow frame 108's, they are extremely hard to find!
