Wide Frame "148" restore
3 Attachment(s)
Ok guys here it goes. This is my first rebuild on any of my tractors as I like them original as much as possible. With that being said I did some horse trading to LiamD for a 128 w/no motor for a complete 124. I wanted a gear drive to put a k321 in for plowing and field work. Hence the name "148". The tractor had lots of problems from the PO. before LiamD.This is the first pic I got before the trac. was completely torn apart.

Taking it down to the frame is a great way to fix all the PO mods.:beerchug: Looking forward to your progress and updates!

Here are some pics after the sandblasting
Attachment 29029 Sorry I didn't get any of the hood. Although EVERYTHING was sandblasted outside or in the blasting cab. |
Looks like a cool project! I always wondered why they never made a gear drive 14 HP. I'm going to be following this thread, thinking a 146 would be cool:bigthink:
