2182 alternator bad?
 

Somereason my 2182 isnt charging and battery went dead. it will start if its jumped from another tractor, but a few seconds after removing the jumper cables it dies and battery hasnt charged any. does this sound like alternator went bad? the thing looks very new. wont start by itself but always starts when jumped from a charged source. thanks

Battery could be bad, regulator, or alternator. Also you could have a bad connection in the wiring harness.
