104 perforated clutch shield

Anyone know what the 1/2 circle cutout on the left side, and the 2 holes on top of clutch shield are for ? :Help: Chris

The cutout on the left you're talking about is probably the choke or throttle cable slot. They have one of those in it. The holes in the top don't do anything that I'm aware of.
