Cub Cadet banner?
Forgive me for asking, but I'm wondering what the story is behind the Cadet I see every time I log into this site, at the top of the page--
was it the first experimental hydrostatic transmission or is it just something a mechanic threw together? I searched the site and couldn't come up with an answer. Thanks! |
This was the first hydro Cub Cadet.
I hope to have it and the engineer who built it at next years Red Power Round Up in Lima, Ohio. Here is a link to the show: www.rpru2013.com |
That's the first hydro built by sunstrand engineer Charles Ricketts. Here's the link to a thread about it.

Ok thanks for letting me know. I figured it was a hydro- the unpainted pump gave it away.
I hope that it's at the RPRU in Lima next year- this one is one of the closest ones to me! I went to the one in Indiana two summers ago and it was great. |
